About the roleOur Kingston practice situated in a beautiful period building is looking for a vet to join and take the reins of this established GP practice, complete with dental and digital x-ray.

You will be fully supported by an experienced RVN and passionate trainee nurse, as well as your regional manager who is integral in the running of the region and there for additional support.Although sole charge, we also have our fantastic and incredibly experienced regional head vet, for any clinical support you may need.Kingston is also supported by Stone Lion 24-hour hospital in Wimbledon, for more complex cases, or OOH care your patients may need.

About the role

We cover all areas of London; Central, South, East, North, West and parts of Essex. We don’t expect people to cover huge areas, and you will work closely with our locum coordinator teams to work out which clinics are accessible to you.

​Although a float position, you will be fully supported by our experienced regional managers.

​The role allows you to experience different environments from RCVS accredited hospitals with an array of specialists to multi vet and small sole charge clinics.

​Being a float role, you will work closely with your locum coordinator having shifts assigned that best support the clinics with their rota gaps. This role involves Saturday and Sunday shifts through-out the year that are not on a set rotation, so you can manage your weekend shifts around your personal life, while again meeting the needs of the clinics.

​Sundays and bank holidays would be worked at your nearest 24-hour hospital.

This is a long established, popular practice, in a vibrant area of East London. Mile End has a large surgical caseload, and we would love to welcome a second vet who shares that passion, to work alongside their full-time senior vet, Part-time vet, senior RVN and student nurses.

The rota for this role involves a 4-day week with Mondays off and alternating early and late finishes. The average 37 hours per week is inclusive of a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation. You will also be rota ‘d to up to 2 bank holidays per year in Wanstead, and be involved in an on-call rotation.

Its high surgical case load would be ideal for a first opinion GP vet looking for more surgical caseload.This role offers a great rota with alternate Mondays and Fridays off, 1 day per week totalling 10 hours, and the other 3 weekdays are 8 hours. The weekend rotation is 1:4 branch Saturdays, and 1:10 hospital Sundays, plus up to 2 bank holidays per year.There are NO on-call requirements.As well as a fantastic team including a senior vet, RVN’s, incredible trainee nurses and integral reception support, you will also be fully supported by a dedicated regional manager, and incredibly experienced regional head vet.Kennington is equipped with everything you would need, including ultrasound facilities, ideal for a vet with a keen interest in diagnostic imaging.
