Stone Lion offers a varied caseload of routine procedures, emergency, and critical care and specialist work with a team of visiting specialists in a variety of disciplines. The role is 10.30am – 3pm Tuesday to Friday and 1:3 Saturday mornings 9am – 12.30pm, consults only.

Twilight RVN – Wanstead Veterinary Hospital, East London

Love ECC but not 13hr night shifts? Be part of both our day and night veterinary teams with our twilight shift at our busy independent East London Veterinary Hospital.

It is the ideal shift for someone with a passion for emergency and critical care but is also looking for a great work-life balance; 5pm – 1am shifts, 4 nights on, 4 nights off (averaging at 28hrs per week). Ideal for someone wanting to study an ECC certificate; great caseload but time to study.

The role involves:

  • Inpatient care across our designated cat, dog, and isolation wards.
  • Assisting with emergencies as they arise.
  • Working alongside our late vet/s up until 10pm and our night vet who starts at 8pm. We also have a late VNA on duty and a night VNA from 9pm onwards. Our night nurse arrives at 11.30pm, allowing for some cross-over time.

Do you have?

  • Excellent communication, clinical, and time management skills.
  • A passion for animal welfare and gold standard patient care.
  • Love ECC and have an interest in studying towards further qualifications in this area.
  • Previous experience in a hospital environment.
