VA403 – Mile End – Registered Veterinary Nurse

In the heart of the East End of London is our popular first opinion Mile End practice, and they are looking for an additional RVN to join this buzzing team on a full-time basis. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: Our RVN salary band is £31,000 to £35,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role. There is a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:10 Sunday rotation at Wanstead Hospital, and 1 bank holiday per year in Wanstead with time off in lieu.We can offer flexibility in the role, with an option of working between 30 to 40 hours. There are no on-call requirements. You will be working alongside two vets, a senior RVN and an incredible support team. VA398 – Veterinary Surgeon

Situated in the heart of Ickenham, a small village in Greater London, is an established practice that is looking for a vet who thrives with being part of the community and is the “go to” vet for their beloved pets. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this 40 hourly week role inclusive of weekend rotation is £57,000 to £73,000 depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role. There are no on-call requirements for this role. In addition, you will be supported by a dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet to help you with any areas of clinical support you may need. This is a full-time 4-day week sole charge position, although we would be happy to explore part-time options. Your full-time 40 hours are inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation, in addition to 2 bank holidays per year in Mandeville Hospital with time off in lieu. Although sole-charge, you will be fully supported by our 24-hour Mandeville Hospital in Northolt that is just a 10-minute drive from the practice, if you did need to refer any of your clients and their pets for more extensive treatment, or overnight hospitalisation. There is state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing our CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site. Ickenham’s location is ideal with 2 main access roads including the M25 just 10 minutes away, yet it has the quint essential village feel. Ickenham also has an underground tube station on the metropolitan line, which takes you all over London within a few short stops, including Kings Cross and Liverpool Street. When at Tottenham you will overlap one day with a senior vet, and sole charge on the other. When at South Woodford you will work closely with their highly experienced senior vet on both days and will have an incredible established nursing support team. You will be fully supported by our highly experienced regional manager, whose support is invaluable to her branches, as well as a regional head vet for clinical management support you may need. You will also be supported by our Wanstead 24-hour hospital to refer more complex cases, and their own rotating night team provides your patients with invaluable OOH care. Tottenham is perfectly situated, within a 5-minute walk from Bruce Grove over-ground which takes you straight into London Liverpool Street, or a 15-minute walk from Tottenham Hale station which picks up the Victoria Line to take you down to South London including Kings Cross.
