VA361 – Mandeville Veterinary Hospital – Night Veterinary Surgeon

Welcome to Mandeville Veterinary Hospital! This beautifully refurbished hospital in Northolt, West London is looking for a night vet to join their team, offering a 7 on 14 off rotation.Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: Our Mandeville night veterinary surgeon salary is £53,025 to £69,690 (FTE £70,000 to £92,000) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.Accommodation may be available if required. You will be fully supported each night with an experienced RVN to help provide the highest standard of care for your patients.Mandeville Veterinary Hospital and its surrounding clinics provide an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service and work to the highest clinical standards. As a result, you will have the opportunity to treat a wide range of patients and conditions. There is state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing our CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery during the day. VA404 – Night Registered Veterinary Nurse

We are looking for an additional nocturnal nurse who thrives in the ECC environment, to join our night team at Wanstead 24-hour Hospital in East London. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary for this 4 night on 8 off position is £32,375 to £37,625 (£37,000 to £43,000 FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth while in the role. The role equates to an average of 35 hours per week, inclusive of an additional 18 shifts per year to help support with annual leave, so there is the upmost continuity for the hospital. You will be working alongside another RVN and an experienced VNA/SVN on your shift as well as our highly experienced permanent night vets (1 vet per night). You will also be supported by the late shift day nurses, who cross over for the start of your shift to assist in handover and for any early evening emergency support. We are open to reviewing applicants from a range of relevant experience levels. As an RVN experienced in ECC, or an RVN with a keen interest to develop your skills further this role is ideal! You will be responsible for assisting with emergencies, caring for critical cases, and offering the highest standard of care to all our patients and clients. In the heart of the East End of London is our popular first opinion Mile End practice, and they are looking for an additional RVN to join this buzzing team on a full-time basis. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: Our RVN salary band is £31,000 to £35,000 (FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role. There is a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:10 Sunday rotation at Wanstead Hospital, and 1 bank holiday per year in Wanstead with time off in lieu.We can offer flexibility in the role, with an option of working between 30 to 40 hours. There are no on-call requirements. We have a split role between two of our popular sites in South Woodford and Tottenham, for a vet who enjoys consistency, but also something a little out of the ordinary. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this split role depending on prior experience is £42,000 to £58,000 FTE. Tottenham’s charm is aided by its incredible support team, including an amazing senior nurse and dedicated student and trainee nurses. When at Tottenham you will overlap one day with a senior vet, and sole charge on the other. When at South Woodford you will work closely with their highly experienced senior vet on both days and will have an incredible established nursing support team. You will be fully supported by our highly experienced regional manager, whose support is invaluable to her branches, as well as a regional head vet for clinical management support you may need. You will also be supported by our Wanstead 24-hour hospital to refer more complex cases, and their own rotating night team provides your patients with invaluable OOH care. Tottenham is perfectly situated, within a 5-minute walk from Bruce Grove over-ground which takes you straight into London Liverpool Street, or a 15-minute walk from Tottenham Hale station which picks up the Victoria Line to take you down to South London including Kings Cross. South Woodford is again ideally situated within an 8-minute walk to the Central Line, and close to the bustling High-street with ample restaurants and bars for your down time! They are both also within a short drive to beautiful Epping Forest for that countryside relief! Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this 40 hourly week role inclusive of weekend rotation is £57,000 to £73,000 depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role. There are no on-call requirements for this role. In addition, you will be supported by a dedicated regional manager, and regional head vet to help you with any areas of clinical support you may need. This is a full-time 4-day week sole charge position, although we would be happy to explore part-time options. Your full-time 40 hours are inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday and 1:8 hospital Sunday rotation, in addition to 2 bank holidays per year in Mandeville Hospital with time off in lieu. Although sole-charge, you will be fully supported by our 24-hour Mandeville Hospital in Northolt that is just a 10-minute drive from the practice, if you did need to refer any of your clients and their pets for more extensive treatment, or overnight hospitalisation. There is state of the art diagnostic support at the hospital with a new CT scanner, a diploma holder in imaging providing our CT and ultrasound service, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site. Ickenham’s location is ideal with 2 main access roads including the M25 just 10 minutes away, yet it has the quint essential village feel. Ickenham also has an underground tube station on the metropolitan line, which takes you all over London within a few short stops, including Kings Cross and Liverpool Street.
