VA434 – Night Veterinary Nurse

Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon are recruiting for a nocturnal RVN, to join their night team on a permanent basis. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: A unique night rotation of 3 nights on 7 nights off, 4 nights on 7 nights off averaging 30.33 hours per week. Our Night RVN salary for the above rotation is £28,055 to £32,604 (£37,000 to £43,000 FTE based on 40 hours per week) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role. The hospital also provides specialist work with an orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon, dermatologist, and physiotherapist. Stone Lion is equipped with everything you would expect from a 24-hour hospital and are now offering laparoscopic spays. We are an RCVS Accredited Hospital and for the cat lovers out there, hold an ISFM Silver Award for Cat Friendly Clinics. You will work alongside an experienced on-site veterinary surgeon for your night shifts and will have support from the clinical management team if you needed to contact during the day for any queries. VA433 – Part-Time Registered Veterinary Nurse

Hello Hackney! This buzzing practice in the heart of East London has a real gem of a role for an RVN looking for part-time hours, flexibility but most importantly stability. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this part-time role inclusive of weekend hours is £20,460 to £23,100 (£31,000 to £35,000 FTE) depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role. This busy and diverse "mini hub" is looking at further investment in diagnostic imaging facilities, to help support our expansive and varied caseload. The practice boasts two consulting rooms, a large prep and theatre area, separate cat and dog wards and a well utilised lab area. This part-time role averages to 26.4 hours per week inclusive of a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:20 hospital Sunday rotation. In addition to 1 bank holiday per year at Wanstead Hospital. Your rota will be 8 hours per day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, giving you the rest of the week for down time, or allowing you to explore any hobbies! You will be working alongside a large support team of vets, a senior RVN, students and trainee nurses. The team thrive on their unique dynamic for laughter and pulling together on those challenging days and utilising the chocolate corner when needed! Hackney is supported by Wanstead 24-hour Veterinary Hospital, where your patients will receive impeccable OOH and specialist care when needed. The Mandeville Veterinary Hospital in Northolt provides out of hours support for Chalfont. It has state of the art 24 hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment, and an array of specialists.
