Our float RVN salary band is £32,000 to £35,000 (FTE) depending on experience, and allowing room for growth within the role.

About the role

We cover all areas of London; Central, South, East, North, West and parts of Essex. We don’t expect people to cover huge areas, and you will work closely with our locum coordinator teams to work out which clinics are accessible to you.

Although a float position, you will be fully supported by our experienced regional managers.

The role allows you to experience different environments from RCVS accredited hospitals with an array of specialists to multi vet and small sole charge clinics.

Being a float role, you will work closely with your locum coordinator having shifts assigned that best support the clinics with their rota gaps. This role involves Saturday and Sunday shifts through-out the year that are not on a set rotation, so you can manage your weekend shifts around your personal life, while again meeting the needs of the clinics.

Sundays and bank holidays would be worked at your nearest 24-hour hospital.

About the role

Our cat friendly Thamesmead branch has gone from strength to strength over the last two years. Following a recent refurbishment, the practice has enlarged the two consult rooms for their team, added a large, streamlined pharmacy and have provided a more comfortable and welcoming reception area for our clients with separate dog and cat waiting areas.

You will be working alongside a highly experienced senior vet, a fantastic second vet, supportive senior RVN and incredible support team.

You will also be fully support by a dedicated regional manager, and a 24-hour Goddard Hospital that will provide OOH services for your patients.

If you wished to develop your keen interest in feline medicine further or any other area, we would be more than happy to support you in this with our generous CPD allowance.

About the role

This role involves 2 days per week on a Monday and Tuesday supporting this first opinion clinic with consults and routine surgeries. If you wished to work additional hours this can of course be explored!

Set in an old bank complete with original vault, Acton is well equipped including a shiny new dental x-ray machine. Acton is also part of the ISFM cat friendly scheme and is proud to be involved with lots of work for the Cats Protection Charity.

You will be working alongside a highly experienced vet and fantastic nursing team including experienced RVNs for your go to support! You will also be fully supported by an incredibly experienced regional manager, and regional head vet.

The Mandeville Veterinary Hospital in Northolt provides out of hours support for Acton. It has state of the art 24 hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment, and an array of specialists and provides a great environment to develop your ECC skills.

The practice is conveniently located opposite the Elizabeth Tube Line, which takes you straight into central London in one direction, and through to Heathrow airport in the other.

About the role

At Greenford you are sole charge working alongside an experienced support team, but you also have the advantage of being just 1.5 miles away from Mandeville Hospital in Northolt, West London.

On Mondays and Fridays, you will have the opportunity to perform your procedures at Mandeville, supported by a large team and working with state-of-the-art facilities.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are neutering days at Greenford, with a day off every Wednesday.

This role would be ideal for a vet who has completed their VetGDP, is confident with sole charge and looking for more independent routine surgery time, but then has the opportunity for more complex cases with the support of the hospital on your surgery days.
