We are looking for an RVN who ideally has a couple of years under their belt and is looking for that next move in their career, to help lead and support a team of their own. You will be working alongside a bubbly and compassionate team including a student nurse, nursing assistant and experienced vets, who have a passion for building strong bonds with their loyal client base. Training and career progression is important to us at Tooting, so we are looking for someone happy to be a clinical coach to support junior team members in their development to become a veterinary nurse, while being able to develop your own skillset at the same time. Full training and allowance will be provided if you have no prior coaching experience. This 40-hourly week role is inclusive of a 1:3 branch Saturday morning, and 1:10 Sunday rotation at Stone Lion Hospital. You will also help support the hospital on 1 bank holiday per year, with time back in lieu. This busy and diverse "mini hub" is looking at further investment in diagnostic imaging facilities, to help support our expansive caseload. Our new team member will be no stranger to a fast-paced environment, will be confident performing routine surgeries, and have the confidence to manage emergency cases. Although a first opinion GP role your caseload and broad client base will give you the opportunity to broaden your own skillset whether that be surgically or medically. The practice boasts two consulting rooms, a large prep and theatre area, separate cat and dog wards and a well utilised lab area. We continue to invest in clinical equipment to ensure we have the best equipment for patient care and have further exciting investment plans for our Hackney practice, so please do not hesitate to express what would be on your wish list! You will be working alongside a support team of vets, RVNs, students and trainee nurses.
