We are looking for a client-focused and forward-looking experienced receptionist to join our team based [branch]. As we increase our client and patient numbers in our Caterham branch of Goddard Veterinary Group, we are keen to ensure that our clients continue to receive high levels of customer care.  We want to ensure that whilst our clinical team support the patients’ needs that we are also able to offer a warm and friendly welcome to clients, have effective communications internally within the team that are timely and efficient, and organisation of our diary so that we can provide the best advice and accurate information to our clients.  

For this part time role of 33 hours a week, we are ideally seeking a candidate with previous reception responsibilities within a veterinary or healthcare setting to join our team of Vets and Nurses.  The salary for the role is £10.50 per hour.

Responsibilities over time will grow to include diary management, taking payments, processing insurance claims, registering new clients, handling client queries, health care plan administration and supporting our vets and nurses with general administration tasks.

VA206 – Contact Centre Call Handler – 30 Hours a week

We are looking for a client-focused and forward-looking person to join our friendly contact centre team in Woodford Green, on the Essex/London borders.

This role is due to expansion and is an exciting one which forms part of a fast-expanding contact centre team.  We offer our clients an easier way to access vets and nurses’ services by telephone and video consultations. You’ll be a great communicator, proactive, and will assume responsibility in ensuring that our clients and patients receive the very best care.  The call handler will join our friendly and professional team responsible for dealing with inbound and outbound calls for our practices and will work in collaboration with practice colleagues across the group to ensure excellent client service is always given

The position is for 30 hours per week from 10am to 4.30pm Tuesday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on a Saturday, this is a for 6 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The salary for this role is £11 per hour.  This role is office-based, located at Claygate House, Woodford Green. This is an excellent location, with the benefits of easy access into central London yet situated on the edge of the beautiful Epping Forest.

Veterinary Nursing Assistant, Plaistow, North London

A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Nursing Assistant at our Plaistow practice in East London.  We are keen to bring new talent into our practice to support the needs of our clients with their pets.
This is also a hands-on role so you should be able to demonstrate experience including animal handling skills, have knowledge of vaccination protocols, flea and worm knowledge and an interest in nutrition as we are keen for you to get fully involved.

You will be able to demonstrate previous excellent and relevant client care experience as this role involves a high level of contact directly communicating with our clients via in person visits, e-mail, phone and virtually. This varied role also requires completion of administration tasks and record keeping which require an organised, methodical approach and where accuracy is important and general housekeeping in order to maintain the high standards in this RCVS accredited practice.

We will be looking for a proactive individual with enthusiasm, energy and a passion for getting stuck into a varied role. Empathy, and listening skills are also important in order that we can provide a supportive standard of care and a personal touch as you will often be the first point of contact for our clients. We also value flexibility, and adaptability to ensure the branch can work efficiently and prioritise patient health needs.

Acton is a long established and hugely successful branch in a popular residential area of London. It is situated in an old bank and the practice has lots of space and unique cat kennels built in the old vault! The clinic has all the usual toys including a shiny new dental x-ray. Acton is also part of the ISFM cat friendly scheme and is proud to be involved with lots of work for the Cats Protection Charity. 

The salary is in the region of £50,000 to £60,000 per annum for a full-time role and dependent on experience. The role involves 1 in 3 Saturdays in branch and 1 in 8 Sundays and 2 bank holidays per annum at our Mandeville Veterinary Hospital.
