​About your new role!Ewell is a beautifully designed clinic with an open span prep area, walk in kennels and large reception area for your clients.This position offers flexibility of up to 30 hours per week plus a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:10 Saturday rotation at Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon. If you were looking for full-time hours, we are happy to explore options! You will be rota ‘d to 1 bank holiday per year in Stone Lion.As part of your initial induction, you will spend a day at the hospital to learn their ways, ready for your first Sunday shift so you are not thrown in at the deep end!There are NO on-call requirements for this position.As a branch RVN some of your duties will include:– Ensure the provision of a high quality and continually improving standard of nursing care. – Assist the veterinary surgeon in theatre and during consultations, as and when required. – Maintain comprehensive patient hospitalisation records. – Ensure a high standard of comfort and welfare for all pets in our care. – Complete and maintain accurate records of hospitalised patients. – Maintain a respectful and collaborative team environment – Ensure equipment is cleaned, packed, sterilised and stored correctly when not in use. – Maintain adequate stocks of drugs, diets and consumables and place orders with our suppliers to required levels as necessary. – Assist with the induction of new staff and their subsequent training. – Provide reception duties, as required, ensuring a friendly and efficient handling of clients and their pets, in person, by email and over the telephone. – Support student nurses as a clinical supervisor

This lovely practice in West London has just had a role open for an RVN, on a full-time basis.About your new role!Situated in a popular family area in West London, the client base at Eastcote is established, due to many of them being bonded via our health care plan.You will be part of a settled team, including our lead vet who has been with Goddard Vet Group for over 12 years.Eastcote is also a training practice for our future RVN colleagues, and you will be instrumental in the guidance and support through-out their studies (which are provided via our own Training College). We do not expect people to cover huge areas, and you will work closely with our locum coordinator teams to work out which clinics are accessible to you.There is flexibility in a float role, and we can explore 2, 3, 4 or even 5 days if you wished!

​The role allows you to experience different environments from RCVS accredited hospitals with an array of specialists to multi vet and small sole charge clinics.Being a float role, you will work closely with your locum coordinator having shifts assigned that best support the clinics with their rota gaps. This role involves a regular Saturday rotation and an average of Sunday shifts through-out the year, so you can manage your Sunday shifts around your personal life, while again meeting the needs of the clinics.Sundays and bank holidays would be worked at your nearest 24-hour hospital.

​As a Float RVN you will help support the teams with general day to day nursing tasks including working in the clinical environment, supporting with reception duties and guidance for our student nurses.

​

​Your rota will vary each week as your shifts will be allocated in line with the business need, giving you opportunity to work between different environments.
