​About your new role!Ewell is a beautifully designed clinic with an open span prep area, walk in kennels and large reception area for your clients.This position offers flexibility of up to 30 hours per week plus a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:10 Saturday rotation at Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon. If you were looking for full-time hours, we are happy to explore options! You will be rota ‘d to 1 bank holiday per year in Stone Lion.As part of your initial induction, you will spend a day at the hospital to learn their ways, ready for your first Sunday shift so you are not thrown in at the deep end!There are NO on-call requirements for this position.As a branch RVN some of your duties will include:– Ensure the provision of a high quality and continually improving standard of nursing care. – Assist the veterinary surgeon in theatre and during consultations, as and when required. – Maintain comprehensive patient hospitalisation records. – Ensure a high standard of comfort and welfare for all pets in our care. – Complete and maintain accurate records of hospitalised patients. – Maintain a respectful and collaborative team environment – Ensure equipment is cleaned, packed, sterilised and stored correctly when not in use. – Maintain adequate stocks of drugs, diets and consumables and place orders with our suppliers to required levels as necessary. – Assist with the induction of new staff and their subsequent training. – Provide reception duties, as required, ensuring a friendly and efficient handling of clients and their pets, in person, by email and over the telephone. – Support student nurses as a clinical supervisor

​Ewell is a busy GP practice with a growing caseload, and we are recruiting for additional colleagues to help support our fantastic new senior vet and experienced support team including Senior RVN, RVN’s and trainee nurses who you can call upon for any support you may need while adapting to your new role.Progression is important to us, and if after time you wished to explore senior roles in the group, we would be happy to encourage this and now provide leadership training.As a practice you are supported by the Stone Lion 24-hour hospital in Wimbledon to refer more complex cases, and their own rotating night team provides your patients with invaluable OOH care.The practice itself has multiple local train stations and is within easy reach of desirable parts of London such as Richmond and Wimbledon. This lovely practice in West London has just had a role open for an RVN, on a full-time basis.About your new role!Situated in a popular family area in West London, the client base at Eastcote is established, due to many of them being bonded via our health care plan.You will be part of a settled team, including our lead vet who has been with Goddard Vet Group for over 12 years.Eastcote is also a training practice for our future RVN colleagues, and you will be instrumental in the guidance and support through-out their studies (which are provided via our own Training College). As the sole RVN in practice, there will be additional accountabilities which have been reflected in a higher RVN salary band.

​Our new team member will thrive in GP branch life, building rapport with clients and building relationships with their beloved animals. You will be working alongside a fantastic trainee nurse and sole charge vet we are recruiting for.

​This role can be from 32 hours per week, all in Brixton or 4 days in Brixton and 1 day elsewhere to bump you up to full-time hours if you wished.
