One of our fabulous night vets will be starting their parenting journey in the new year, and we are looking for a competent ECC vet to take the reins on nights for a fixed 12-month period, in our Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon.About your new role!Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital offers a well-rounded caseload of routine procedures, emergency, and critical care, as it not only has its own first opinion client base, but also supports the surrounding Goddard practices for internal referral cases that require hospital expertise.The hospital also provides specialist work with an orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeon, cardiologist, and physiotherapist, giving you peace of mind knowing you can refer any admitted night patients that may require more specialist treatment to your in-house day team.Our new night colleague will be no stranger to sole charge night shifts, having ideally worked in the ECC environment before and is confident in managing ward cases and emergency surgeries that may arise during the night. Along with your RVN, you will provide exemplary care to your patients when admitted for their hospital sleepovers.You will work alongside an experienced on-site registered veterinary nurse for your waking night shifts and will have support from the clinical management team if you needed to contact during the day for any queries.Stone Lion is located in the heart of picturesque Wimbledon Village, just a 10-minute walk from Wimbledon Junction station which is on the district line and enables you to get to all the hot spots of London!

We are looking for client-focused experienced receptionists to join our invaluable front of house team at Wanstead 24-hour Veterinary Hospital, on a full or part-time basis.

About your new role!We want to ensure that while our clinical team support the patients’ needs, we are also able to offer a warm and friendly welcome to clients. This involves providing effective communications internally and organising our diary so that we can provide the best advice and accurate information to our clients.

The part-time 20 hourly week roles involve shift work in 5 hour blocks each week, with the full-time role consisting of 4x 10 hour shifts. The earliest shift starting at 8am, and the latest shift up to 10.30pm plus a 2:4 weekend rotation with TOIL (reducing to 1:3 in the near future). Our largest 24-hour hospital in the group is looking for an RVN who thrives and excels in the theatre environment, and is looking to step into an orthopaedic nurse role.About your new role!This full-time (40 hours per week) RVN position would be IDEAL for an RVN who thrives in theatre, particularly when assisting in orthopaedic surgeries.Your rota will include an average of 1:4 weekends with TOIL and up to 3 bank holidays per year, plus a last resort on-call rotation. You will be rota ‘d to the same shifts as our orthopaedic surgeon, to aid an efficient and streamlined patient journey. When our surgeon is not operating, you will help support other areas of theatre.This role would suit an RVN who has always felt the theatre was their comfort zone, and orthopaedics are an area of interest and expertise.

There is fantastic diagnostic support at Wanstead, with a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all on site.You will be working alongside a large team consisting of approximately 24 vets, 27 RVNs, 14 SVNs, 7 VCAs and a large front of house team who are integral in maintaining excellent client care.

​In terms of support, you will have a senior theatre RVN who you will work with to ensure theatre protocols are being maintained and continually advanced, as well as two deputy head nurses, and head nurse.
