VA379 – – Registered Veterinary Nurse

Welcome to Mark Nelson Thornton Heath! This neighbourhood practice in the heart of vibrant south London is looking for a Head RVN and additional RVN to help grow this practice even further!

Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you:The salary band is £28,000 to £35,000 (FTE) depending on position and prior experience. 

Please note this role is for Mark Nelson Vets and some details may differ from Goddard Vet Group job roles.Your benefits will include:

Both roles are full-time at 40 hours per week with varying shifts between 8am to 6.30pm. There is a 1:3 Saturday rotation from 8am to 1pm.

We would be more than happy to explore part-time hours so please do not hesitate to ask!

There are no on-call requirements or Sundays shifts for this role!

The Mark Nelson clinics have an incredibly bonded client base and excellent facilities. There is a dedicated team of clinical managers led by clinical director Philippa, as well as support from practice manager Gemma, based at the Westerham branch.

The head RVN role could be ideal for an RVN looking to take that next step their career and help lead a team and put a stamp on their practice, or for an already established head nurse wanting their next challenge!

The RVN position could be ideal for a newly qualified RVN, as they will benefit from a supportive team around them.

Mark Nelson’s OOH provider is the established Goddard Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon, so you will have full support of the hospital for any OOH care your patients may need.

Thornton Heath itself is an idyllic little district within South London that has the quintessential London suburb High-street packed with everything you should need! If you did want to venture further into London, within 30 minutes you are in trendy Peckham, or under and hour on one train straight into London Liverpool Street, where you can pick up virtually any tube or over ground line.About us
