From the commencement of employment with us, we will provide generous CPD funding for courses of short duration. We are also happy to fund more expensive two-year modular courses such as the Cert AVP, BSAVA PG Certificates and Improve International’s Medicine and Surgery GP Certificates. Many of our veterinary surgeons have either gained or are currently working towards these qualifications whilst working for the practice. As well as funding the courses we also offer up to five paid days to attend courses or for study leave.
Our training department offers a comprehensive schedule of in-house CPD modules, one-day courses and correspondence courses to benefit our nursing and support staff. Additionally, we host an attractive schedule of internally organised evenings where keynote speakers, from the veterinary profession, who lead the field in their disciplines make themselves uniquely available to our staff. These meetings provide the latest thinking on the diagnosis and management of various conditions.
We encourage and fund our senior nurses to undertake advanced qualifications and our training department offers a comprehensive schedule of in-house CPD modules.
