VA372 – Float Role – Dental Veterinary Surgeon

Where do killer whales go to have their teeth straightened…….the orcadontist! This role however is purely small animal, no orcas in London! We are looking for a veterinary surgeon who is all about dentistry and looking for a role that provides just that.Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you:The salary band for this role is £63,000 to £83,000 (FTE) depending on experience.

We would ideally be looking for an applicant who holds a certificate in dentistry or is working toward one.

About the role

You will be providing stand-out dentistry support to our Walthamstow branch twice a week, and our Wanstead hospital in East London, and Mandeville Hospital in Northolt once a week, creating a 4-day week rota.

There are no weekend or on-call requirements for this position.

Our Walthamstow practice has a high dental caseload supporting nearby branches with more complex dental cases and has all the facilities you would need including dental x-ray.

At both Wanstead and Mandeville Hospital there is state of the art diagnostic support, with a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.

You will be fully supported by a team of experienced nurses and support colleagues in Walthamstow and both hospitals, as well as regional management for any additional support you may need.
