As client and patient numbers increase, we in turn are increasing our team size to continue providing the high standard of patient and client care we are proud of.This has created opportunities for RVN’s or soon to qualify SVN’s to join our established hospital team at either Stone Lion Hospital in Wimbledon, or Wanstead Hospital in East London dependent on your location, and provide invaluable support on the weekends.Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you:The salary for this 16 hour weekly role as an RVN is £12,400 to £14,000 (£31,000 to £35,000 FTE) depending on experience.
If you wished to work just 1 weekend day a week this can of course be accommodated.

About the role
You will be working alongside a team of experienced vets, RVN’s, students, nursing assistants and front of house team, helping provide care to our much-loved patients every Saturday and Sunday.
There is flexibility in this role if you wanted more ECC experience but didn’t want to commit to a full weekend.
Wanstead Veterinary Hospital sees an incredibly varied caseload, no day is the same, it’s a great environment to learn from our talented team of certificate holders and specialists. The hospital provides an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service to our clients and local network of 20 branches and work to the highest clinical standards.
There is state of the art diagnostic support at Wanstead, with a new CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.
Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital and its surrounding clinics provide an excellent first opinion, emergency, critical care, and referral service and work to the highest clinical standards.
The hospital has digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, comprehensive in-house blood analysers, multi-parameter monitoring used as standard and the opportunity to provide laparoscopic spays. We are an RCVS Accredited Hospital and for the cat lovers out there, hold an ISFM Silver Award for Cat Friendly Clinics.
