Where do killer whales go to have their teeth straightened…….the orcadontist! This role however is purely small animal, no orcas in London! We are looking for a veterinary surgeon who is all about dentistry and looking for a role that provides just that. Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you: The salary band for this role is £63,000 to £83,000 (FTE) depending on experience.We would ideally be looking for an applicant who holds a certificate in dentistry or is working toward one. Refunds on many routine medical costs such as dental care, physiotherapy, optician, chiropractic fees, and more - Professional membership fees covered - Shopping discounts - Generous colleague discounts - Petplan 20% colleague discountAbout the roleYou will be providing stand-out dentistry support to our Walthamstow branch twice a week, and our Wanstead hospital in East London, and Mandeville Hospital in Northolt once a week, creating a 4-day week rota.There are no weekend or on-call requirements for this position.Our Walthamstow practice has a high dental caseload supporting nearby branches with more complex dental cases and has all the facilities you would need including dental x-ray.At both Wanstead and Mandeville Hospital there is state of the art diagnostic support, with a CT scanner, a commercial laboratory, a strong medical team, and experienced surgeons routinely conducting advanced orthopaedic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive surgery all available on site.You will be fully supported by a team of experienced nurses and support colleagues in Walthamstow and both hospitals, as well as regional management for any additional support you may need.About usIn 2022 we celebrated our 70th anniversary and have 46 branches, 3 hospitals and our own nurse training college.
