In the heart of the East End of London is our increasingly popular first opinion Mile End practice, and they are looking for an experienced RVN to step into a senior position, working alongside the senior vet to lead this busy inner city GP practice.

Our senior RVN salary band is £34,000 to £39,000 depending on experience and allowing room for growth within the role.

About the role


Mile End is a very busy GP practice in the heart of East London, and they are looking for an experienced and organised leader to step into their senior RVN position, to help manage the day-to-day caseload in a true urban environment.




This full-time role is 40-hours per week Monday to Friday, inclusive of a 1:4 branch Saturday and 1:10 Wanstead Hospital Sunday rotation with TOIL. You will be rota ‘d to 1 bank holiday in Wanstead hospital per year.


Included in your initial induction period is also a hospital induction day to get to grips with hospital working before your first hospital shift.


Along with our brand new fabulous senior vet, you will play an integral part in the day to day running of the clinic, ensuring your team are supported and the practice is running efficiently and providing exemplary patient care. This will include accountabilities ranging from diary management to equipment maintenance, clinical governance, team engagement and the clinical support of students.


Your team includes a full-time senior vet, full-time associate vet, part-time vet to support days off, part-time RVN and growing student nursing team.


Leadership training will be provided if you have not had formal training but naturally excel in a leadership role.


You will be fully supported by a highly experienced regional manager, whose support is invaluable to her branches, as well as regional head vet for clinical management support.


Mile End is situated in an ideal part of London, it has a bustling restaurant and bar scene, is close to famous Victoria Park and is within a single 35-minute train journey straight through to rural Essex and Epping Forest, where you will be spoilt for choice for country pubs. Your nearest tube station is just a 5-minute walk away.
