Lisa began her nursing career in 1991, just a year after the surgery opened and has been here ever since! She was crowned National Canine Defence League’s (now Dogs’ Trust) ‘Animal Nurse of the Year’ in 1995 and appeared on Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast to accept her prize. Lisa also has two dogs called Roary and Loxy and has a particular interest in rabbits and guinea pigs. When she’s not working or baking cakes, she enjoys spending time with her partner and three sons.
