Sammy Thompson RVN

Sammy qualified as a veterinary nurse in September 2013 and after qualifying she took some time out to travel and undertook some voluntary work at a rehabilitation centre for orphaned orangutans in Borneo, Malaysia.  Sammy joined the team at Wanstead in 2014. She is currently working towards a diploma in advanced veterinary nursing at Harper Adams University and particularly enjoys anaesthesia and emergency and critical care. Sammy enjoys the varied case load and the high standards of care that the Wanstead Hopsital is able to offer patients as well as the opportunity to mentor student nurses during their training. At home Sammy has a lovely, scatty old lady border terrier cross called Millie.
