A new opportunity has arisen for a part-time maternity cover Veterinary Nursing Assistant at our Edgware practice. There is a well-established and friendly team, and the practice is very much part of the local community. The branch is situated opposite both the attractive Canons Park and Canons Park tube station. There are great transport connections into Central London and for gig and match lovers it’s really handy for Wembley!
This position is for 30 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday. There are no Saturdays required.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate previous excellent and relevant client care experience. The role involves a high level of contact directly communicating with our clients via in-person visits, e-mail, phone, and virtually and we will be looking for enthusiasm, self-confidence, empathy, and listening skills in an applicant to provide the standard of care and the personal touch we expect for our valued clients.
This is a hands-on role in a busy branch so the ideal candidate will be a pivotal part of an established team, and you will often be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. We also value flexibility, adaptability, a proactive approach, and teamwork to ensure the branch can work efficiently. The role also requires completion of administrative tasks and record-keeping which require an organised, methodical approach and where accuracy is important.
Previous experience within a veterinary practice or clinical setting is not essential but would be an advantage.
