VA383 – Part-time Veterinary Receptionist

<p>We are looking for two client-focused, experienced receptionists (ideally from a veterinary background but not essential) to join our team at Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital, in Wimbledon.</p><p>​</p><p><strong><u>Before we delve into the nitty gritty, here is what we offer you:</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>​</u></strong></p><p>The salary for these part-time positions is <strong>£11.44 per hour </strong>with room for development<strong>​.</strong></p><p>​</p><p><strong><u>We have a generous benefits package including the below:</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>​</u></strong></p><p>- 6.6 weeks annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata for part-time)<br>- The opportunity to join our private medical insurance scheme at a reduced rate<br>- Generous colleague introduction reward for vets and RVNs<br>- 24-hour Employee Assistance Programme<br>- Medical cashback plan involving refunds on many routine medical costs such as dental care, physiotherapy, optician, chiropractic fees, and more<br>- Shopping discounts<br>- Generous colleague discounts<br>- Petplan 20% colleague discount</p><p><strong><u>​</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>About the roles</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>​</u></strong></p><p><strong>Role 1:</strong>&nbsp;25 hours worked between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday plus a 1:3 Saturday rotation 8am-4.30pm.</p><p>​</p><p><strong>Role 2: </strong>35 hours worked between Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and alternating Wednesdays or Fridays off, plus a 1:3 Saturday rotation 8am-4.30pm.</p><p>​</p><p>The Stone Lion Veterinary Hospital provides first opinion, specialist referral services and emergency and critical care out of hours, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.</p><p>​</p><p>Our front of house team is integral to the hospital as they are the first point of contact for clients, and it is essential our exceptional client service is maintained.</p><p>​</p><p>Responsibilities will include diary management in conjunction with the clinical team, taking payments, processing insurance claims, registering new clients, handling client queries, health care plan administration, supporting our vets and nurses with general administration tasks, and of course the welcoming of our clients' precious fur-babies into clinic!</p><p>​</p><p>Our new team members will be highly efficient, extremely good communicators and will not be overwhelmed by a busy and demanding reception desk.
