About the role
This GP first opinion role will involve working between both sites (not on the same day) and will expose you to the fast-paced multi vet environment of Hackney (one of our busiest clinics in the group) and then Highbury which is our sole charge consult only clinic.
With Hackney being a busy and diverse “mini hub” it is looking at further investment in diagnostic imaging facilities, to help support our expansive and varied caseload.
Hackney boasts two consulting rooms, a large prep and theatre area, separate cat and dog wards and a well utilised lab area. We continue to invest in clinical equipment to ensure we have the best equipment for patient care and have further exciting investment plans for our Hackney practice.
Highbury is an incredibly popular consult only practice, that has a very bonded client base that dates years back! Any surgical cases you may need to admit can be referred to Hackney, so you will have continuity of your cases.
You will be working alongside a large support team of vets, RVNs, students and trainee nurses. The team thrive on their unique dynamic for laughter and pulling together on those challenging days and utilising the chocolate corner when needed!
Hackney and Highbury are supported by Wanstead 24-hour Veterinary Hospital, so you have the advantage of referring emergency cases within only a short travelling distance for your clients for continuation of care.
You will also be fully supported by a dedicated regional manager, and experienced regional head vet for any clinical advice or concerns.
