VA199 – Lead Veterinary Surgeon – Uxbridge

We are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to lead our lovely two-vet practice in West London.  Our Uxbridge branch has been at this location for many years and is extremely popular within the local community. Situated in a residential conservation area close to the vibrant town centre. With excellent transport links with the M25/M40 and Heathrow Airport a short distance away plus regular tube services into central London. 
Uxbridge has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, an experienced well-established team, with 2 dedicated RVNs, Student nurses, part time receptionists and loyal clients. We have two consultation rooms for our Vets and a separate consultation room for our Nurses. The branch has all the usual toys in order to work your cases up to a high standard, including dental x-ray and ultrasound.

This is a full time (4 day week) position including 1 in 3 Saturdays giving a rota designed especially for the vet who would love a rewarding, satisfying career but also a home life too. The salary for this position is £60,000 to £70,000 per annum depending on experience.  There is no overnight work or on call. We would love you to support our hospital colleagues at our RCVS accredited tier 3 hospital in Northolt on a 1:8 Sunday day- time only rota and 2 bank holidays per year. The Mandeville Hospital has great 24 hr facilities including CT, an excellent ultrasound, scopes, laparoscopic equipment and an array of specialists and provides a great environment to develop your ECC skills.
In addition, we offer a generous CPD allowance plus up to 5 CPD days per annum. The Goddard Veterinary Group sees CPD as an investment in the individual, as well as for the practice, and is keen to support study for certificate qualifications.
