VA195 – Veterinary Nursing Assistant – Fulham, South West London

A new opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Nursing Assistant at our Fulham practice of Goddard Vet Group.  
Our Fulham practice, situated on the Kings Road, and only a few minutes’ walk from Fulham Broadway station, has a strong local reputation for maintaining a high standards of customer service.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience of delivering high standards of customer care, as our local reputation is important to maintain. The role involves communicating with our clients in person and via the phone, so you must have the enthusiasm, self-confidence, empathy, and listening skills to provide the friendly and personal touch we expect for our valued clients. You will be involved with diary management, ensuring reception and other areas are clean, handling payments, answering client queries, and supporting our vets and nursing colleagues with consultations and post operative pet care.

The Veterinary Nursing Assistant role is a hands-on role in a small, team so the ideal candidate will be a key member of an established practice where you will often be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets. We value flexibility and adaptability to ensure the team can work efficiently. The role also requires completion of reception duties and administration tasks which require an organised, methodical approach and where accuracy is important.
Previous experience within a veterinary practice is not essential but would be a distinct advantage, and we will support with training in those areas you may be less familiar with.

This position is flexible between 30 and  40 hours per week and includes some Saturday work.  The rate of pay for this role is £6.83 to £9.50 per hour.
