We are looking for a part-time Veterinary Receptionist at our RCVS accredited Veterinary Hospital in Wimbledon Village. Stone Lion provides first opinion, specialist referral services and emergency and critical care out of hours. We are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Goddard Veterinary Group’s Stone Lion Hospital is a well-established practice, having provided veterinary care in the close-knit community of Wimbledon Village for over 100 years. We pride ourselves on the care given to both patients and clients and seek to employ like-minded individuals to go above and beyond.
Our receptionists are the first point of contact for clients, they must be resourceful, perceptive and proactive as well as having a passion for exceptional customer service. The right candidate will be efficient, an extremely good communicator and will not be overwhelmed by a busy and demanding reception desk. We are looking for someone with the confidence, empathy and experience to provide the high standards of care and the personal touch we expect for our clients. The ideal candidate will have previous reception experience, ideally within the veterinary industry, and demonstrate a passion for client and animal care and the ability to work well within a team.
The role includes both early starts and late finishes and 1 in 3 Saturdays. The hours for the role will be between 16 to 20 hours a week with a salary of £8,802 to £11,000 per annum depending on hours. .
You will need to be computer literate although training will be given, but more importantly we are looking for a friendly, confident, empathetic individual who will be proud to make the reception area, their area of responsibility and for an individual with a passion for animal welfare and who loves being a pivotal part of a vibrant and friendly team.
