You will be joining our network of Central London first opinion branches which are currently experiencing an increased number of patients and a widening caseload. Investment plans are currently being finalised so exciting times ahead at Highbury.
This role is for a 12 months fixed term contract due to maternity cover. The role is a 3 days per week with a 1 in 3 Saturday rota. There is no night work or on call. To provide a mix between branch and hospital work, with a great way to experience ECC work, we would also like you to join the Sunday rota (1:8) at our RCVS accredited tier 3 hospital in Wanstead. We understand the need for a genuine work life balance, so although there would be the option to work the occasional additional hours if you wished to, this would be your choice to make.
You will be a vet who can manage your time and prioritise well. Confidence in routine surgery and working up medical cases will be your passion. Our ideal candidate will enjoy working as part of a team with another part time vet to share the workload with and have a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, putting their pet’s health at the centre of every decision.
We are looking for someone who can fit into our practice culture and values who enjoys being a great GP supported by fantastic colleagues, but due to location in a London ‘village’ environment with proximity to fashionable Islington and East London, also relishes having a satisfying life outside of work.
The salary is in the region of £45-55k depending on experience. In addition, we offer a generous CPD allowance plus up to 5 days per annum. The Goddard Veterinary Group sees CPD as an investment in the individual, as well as for the practice, and is keen to support study for certificate qualifications.
