Our Mile End practice is looking for an experienced part-time veterinary receptionist with administration experience. The position is for 25 hours per week and there is some flexibility as to how these hours may be spread across the weekdays only.
The practice has always been extremely popular within the local community and has grown from strength to strength over the years. We are situated opposite Mile End Park and a very short walk from Mile End Station.
As we have many new and existing clients to support, and as we are expanding our clinical team, we are looking for someone to join the team and assist us with administrative work, such as managing the diary, making and receiving phone calls, processing insurance forms, and supplying clients with information and keeping records up to date. This role will involve the use of our own purpose-designed IT system, managing e-mails, and utilising other channels of communication. You will receive training in all our systems, but you will require previous experience using technology. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of a similar role within the veterinary industry or a clinical setting and will demonstrate a passion for customer service, communication, and organisation. The role involves a high degree of face-to-face contact with our clients, so we are looking for someone with confidence in communicating, an ability to be empathetic, and a passion for supporting clients and their pet’s wellbeing.
