We are recruiting full-time and part-time receptionists to join an experienced front-of-house team at our busy Wanstead hospital. The role involves a high level of face-to-face contact with our clients, so you must have the confidence, empathy, and experience to provide the standard of care and the personal touch we expect for our clients. The successful candidate will have plenty of client care experience in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of 1-year veterinary reception experience is preferred.
The roles available are 20hrs or 40hrs per week, including evenings, weekends, and some bank holidays. The shifts are varied so plenty of flexibility is required.
We offer an excellent benefits package including increasing holiday allowance, enrolment on to our SimplyHealth Cashback Plan which provides cashback/refunds on many routine medical costs such as dental care, physiotherapy, optician, chiropractor fees, etc. plus generous shopping and leisure discounts. All our receptionists are members of the British Veterinary Receptionist Association and CPD is provided with this membership.
Wanstead offers a beautiful high street with a range of pubs, restaurants, and shops all within a short walking distance of the practice. Westfield, Stratford, and Central London are easily accessible via the Central Line.
Goddard Veterinary Group is a family-run practice and was started in 1952 by Arthur Goddard. His son Philip took over the reins in the late ‘90s and remains the practice principal. We are now the largest family-run veterinary practice in the UK and have 44 branches, 3 hospitals, and our own nursing college. We have a great reputation for looking after our staff; over 20% of our team have been with us 10 years or more and we are proud of our many 5 -star reviews on Indeed!
If you are interested in this rewarding role and working with a well-established independent family-run business, please apply with a cover letter stating whether you are looking for full time or part-time, the days and hours that you are available to work and explaining why you think that you would be a suitable candidate.
